Playing a key role in the preparation and review of safety & environmental documentation, the monitoring of site performance, and the production of KPI’s, while promoting a positive Health and Safety culture across the company.
With 4 years Rail industry experience with Hedson Rail including project specific Health and Safety duties Tessa is experienced with the requirements of the industry. A key part of this is attending industry safety events and conferences, to bring key insights and industry innovations back to be shared throughout Hedson Rail.
With a NEBOSH general certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, face-fit testing, harness inspection, PTS, and IOSH membership, she has an adaptable skillset to meet both the office and project site Health and Safety requirements.
Transferable skills and analytical thinking are some of the key traits Tessa brings to Hedson Rail coming from out of industry to bring a fresh perspective and giving her a wider understanding of the functional business.
Tessa's background in science and previous experience as a general manager means she can easily meet the varied demands of working in a growing rail consultancy, where the importance of communication and collaborative working are fundamental to Hedson Rail’s success.
